How it all started

In March of 2020, we both lost our jobs at The Ice Plant in downtown St. Augustine, FL, due to the shut down of businesses during Covid. After 3 weeks of unemployment with no end in sight, we decided to promote our love for hospitality and started an Instagram page, posting homemade cocktails and food recipes. Once restrictions were lifted, we received requests to bartend for friends who were not ready to go back to bars and restaurants. “This could be something special.” we thought.

In April 2021 we officially registered McKarl’s Libations & Cuisine LLC with SunBiz in Jacksonville, Florida, securing full state licensing. Since then, we’ve evolved from a two-person mobile bartending startup into a comprehensive hospitality group—championing spirit education and elevating weddings, corporate galas, and private celebrations with craft cocktails and impeccable, high-end service.
